WSH, or known as the Windows Script Host is one of the option provided by Microsoft to run vbs application. With the development of virus-virus in the virtual world today, many viruses use the facility to run a virus-the virus that berektensi vbs. VBS.Redlof just a virus and may VBS.Lovelorn many other that will follow.
Actually if we turn off the facility or option WSH, the vbs virus attacks can be minimized. Many of the computer does not recognize the user does not even know that the virus does not disable will spread so quickly.
WSH facilities have all using computer operating system
Windows 95, 98, NT, ME, 2000, XP and Windows Server 2003.
Windows 98,
1. From the Windows taskbar, select Start | Settings | Control Panel.
2. In the 'Control Panel' screen, double-click icon "Add / Remove programs'.
3. In the 'Add / Remove Programs' window, open the tab' Windows Setup '.
4. Select 'Accessories' and double-click.
5. In the list 'Accessories', find' Windows Scripting Host '.
6. Click check-box in 'Windows Scripting Host' to disable it.
7. Click OK to return to the 'Add / Remove Programs' window.
8. Then click on the button 'OK'.
Windows 95
1. In the 'Desktop', or 'Windows Explorer', right-click on the icon 'My Computer'.
2. Select 'Open' from the menu.
3. In the 'My Computer' window, open the menu 'View' and select 'Options ...'.
4. Open the tab 'File Types'.
5. Search Windows Scripting Host (WSH) is installed on your computer, and
see also if there are 'VBScript Script File' in the file type list
6. Click on the button Click on the 'Remove'.
